Production Team

Musical Director - Angela Blackwell

Angela is delighted to be working on another Sondheim show with EMCO, having been MD for their production of ‘Into the Woods’. She has been an MD for a large number of shows and loves a musical challenge, and Sondheim is certainly that! Musical theatre has been a big part of Angela’s life and highlights have included playing for the London Show Orchestra, being one of the first four amateur MDs in the UK accepted by Andrew Lloyd-Webber to MD ‘Evita’ and working with a myriad of talented performers, directors, choreographers and tech teams.

Director - Chloë Faine

Chloë is a relative newcomer to EMCo, having joined as a performer for ‘Villainous’ in 2023 and hung around for ‘Fame’ and ‘Broadway Unbound.’ Chloë’s first outing as a director was with the University of Bristol Union directing Fiddler on the Roof a ludicrously long time ago: and has since encompassed a range of plays and musicals including Guys and Dolls, the London amateur premier of Rent, The Wild Party (LaChiusa), Our Country’s Good, Macbeth, Shining City, Don Juan in Soho, The Shape of Things and Scales of the Unexpected.  Directing highlights include directing Shared for the Wireless Theatre company, and No Occasion To, winner of the Windsor Theatre Festival.
